Key Features:
Single Media for 40M Bytes
The high recording density is accomplished by a combination of MIG
Head and thin film media. Employs "zone bit density" for the most
effective use utility of the media.
32KB Buffer (32K Bytes Cache Memory)
Makes the through-put faster and the high capacity buffer makes the
execution of the zero latency time function.
Connected to IBM PC-AT and Equivalent Interface
Option of Host Adapter Board for connection to PC-AT and equivalent
interface is available.
High Speed Stepping Motor with 0.225 step and Speed Sensor Coils
The employment of 0.225 Step Angle reduces the rotation angle of
stepping motor.
Servo Controlled Head Positioning by Useful Micro Stepper Motor
The more precise positioningg is performed by Kyocera's advanced
servo control technology and micro step control technology.
Functions of Power Down and Parking
In case Read/Write/Seek command are not executed for the specified
time, the drive will go to "Save-Enegy-Mode" after moving the heads
to the park zone.
Diagnostic Function
In addition to the high performance and reliability design,
Diagnostic function is also employed for more convenient incoming
inspection at OEM and evaluations by VAR/Distributor etc.
